Will completing your courses and using your templates get me a job?

Sorry but we can not make any such guarantees, due to the huge number of variables outside of our control. We can however provide many tips that will improve your chances of getting a role.

I can’t find a resume template and course for my scenario, what should I do?

Over time we will add more scenarios, but in the meantime please let us know what your scenario is, and if not too niche we will look at creating a template to suit. Alternatively you can choose the standard template (coming soon), and/or use the learnings and apply them as you can.

I need a CV, but you have resume templates, can I use them?

In Australia the term resume is typically used, and in New Zealand CV or curriculum vitae is the more common. In strict terms a resume should be a shorter document (very much a summary), whereas the CV is a longer full chronological history of your experience and education. However in practice in most scenarios the terms are used interchangeably. Make sure that you label the document with what the employer asks for, either resume or CV.

Can we place a job vacancy on your site?

As our site is new we are only placing the odd job vacancy. Over time once we have good traffic, we will look to add job vacancies as a more robust feature of the site.

Job agencies/community groups

Do you work with community groups or job agencies?

Happy to have a discussion and see if there is something we can do to help you.

Resume writers

Do we have access to resume writers?

Currently we do have a few that we can suggest. We will add a directory in the future if there is demand.

I am a resume writer, how do I get in your directory?

A form will be added once we are ready to go. In the meantime please contact us. Note that certain minimum standards will be expected.
